Welcome to the Lewis & Clark Section of the Institute of Food Technologists

Welcome to the Lewis and Clark IFT Section website.  LCIFT is one of 53 regional sections of the IFT organization, a non-profit community that assists in the advancement of the science of food. Our members represent all areas of the food industry, from packaging to manufacturing to research & development and beyond. With professionals in industry, academia and government, we strive to promote all aspects of food technology.

Whether you are a new student or a seasoned professional, you will benefit from being a member of LCIFT.  Meetings occur several times throughout the year for informative sessions with excellent speakers and networking at Suppliers’ Nights.  Please take advantage of the many resources at your disposal. Together, we can make lasting improvements that will serve many future generations of food science and technology professionals.
